Rode on the train and wasn't really feeling an inclination to pray with anyone on the Red Line. I got to the Green Line and there was an older woman, I think she was Haitian. I asked her about a survey. She said no. Can I pray for you? No. (I'm getting quite used to rejection. ;) I prayed for her and God told me that she had a lot of trouble in the past and so she had given up on God but God had not given up on her. So I shared that with her and she said thank you. She said good bye and have a nice day which I thought was very nice so I said thanks and God bless you sister! :)
We are ministers of reconciliation.
2 Corinthians 5:11-2117 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ,he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore youon Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
